What does it do? It alters the colour profile of your screen at night to reduce the amount of blue light. There is a lot of research on the benefits of this. Largely it is to do with seeing blue light in the evening/night is unnatural, and it can prevent you getting to sleep properly. It’s not necessary to read the research though. Simply install it, set it to fade in slowly over an hour, then at night when you have been using it for a while, disable it. Ouch! You’ll wonder how you ever looked at a screen like that. If you set it to fade in slowly, you likely won’t notice it either.
I install it on ever computer I own. You should too. You need it!
